Our services include:

TOUGHENING :

Toughened glass is produced by heating regular float glass after it has been cut to size and edged.  The treatment involves heating the glass so that it begins to soften (approx 670 degrees C) and then rapidly cooling it. This produces a glass which, if broken, breaks into small pieces without sharp edges. This process does increase the surface tension of the glass which can cause it to 'explode' if broken; this is more a dramatic effect than hazardous.
It is important to note that the treatment must be applied only after all cutting and processing has been completed, as once 'toughened', any attempt to cut the glass will cause it to shatter.
Toughened glass is ideal for glazed doors, low level windows for safety and for tabletops where it can withstand heat.

CNC :

With the use of computer numerical cutting (CNC) equipment we can shape and polish float and laminated glass up to 19mm in thickness, which would not be possible using traditional glass cutting and polishing methods.

  * Glass Cutting
  * Glass Polishing
  * Glass Drilling and cut-outs
  * Glass Routering
The above processing capabilities on our CNC allow us to produce glass for various applications such as, but not limited to:

  * Glass canopies and balustrades
  * Fire resistant and security glass
  * Glass display cases and cabinets
  * Glass breakfast bars and glass worktops

GLASS POLISHING :

For that perfect finish, any type of glass can be given a highly bright polished edge.
This polish is usually a flat polish, however can be a pencil edge round finish is available on request.

GLASS DRILLING :

Holes can be drilled in any glass thickness from 4mm to 99mm diameter.

UV BONDING :

The process of bonding using adhesive cured by ultra violet (UV) light is a relatively new process.
Single component adhesives achieve their final hardness through the exposure of UV light.
The finished bond is crystal clear or highly transparent and depending on the type of adhesive: very hard or elastic.
The special advantage of these adhesives is their easy and clean application as well as extremely short curing times and high stability.
We use the finest adhesives and have developed special relationships with manufacturers to produce the ultimate joint which is stronger than glass itself.
